Aline and Angela’s journey to founding ThriveWell is deeply personal and rooted in a shared passion for helping others.
For Aline, the road to mental health care began with her own struggles with anxiety as a young adult. She knows firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the battle can be, and this personal experience years back ignited a lifelong dedication to helping others find healing. With 20 years in the mental health field, Aline has devoted her career to a holistic approach, one that respects the mind-body connection while also recognizing the vital role of medications when needed. For several years now, Aline has been treating adults and children for several mental health conditions, as well as coaching clients in stress management and anxiety reduction. Her work has been driven by a simple but powerful belief: no one should have to navigate mental health alone.
Angela’s path started in 2007 when she became a nurse, guided by an innate desire to serve and heal. She became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019, specializing in addiction medicine, and later deepened her expertise by becoming a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2024.
Having worked with individuals facing some of the toughest battles—addiction, mental illness, and chronic health conditions. Angela understands that compassionate, accessible care can change lives.
Together, Aline and Angela saw a growing need for high-quality, patient-centered care that meets people where they are, literally. In an era where telemedicine is the wave of the future, they knew they could reach more people, break down barriers, and provide compassionate, expert care to those who need it most. ThriveWell was born from their shared vision: a place where mental and physical health are treated with equal importance, where patients feel truly heard, and where healing is always within reach.
